Terms and Conditions

International Terms and Conditions of Sale

Welcome to Fidelis Carpet Gallery. By engaging in international transactions through our platform, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions, which govern the export, sale, and delivery of our fine handwoven silk pictorial carpets (Tablo Farsh). Please read these terms carefully, as they constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“the Buyer”) and Fidelis Carpet Gallery (“the Gallery”).

Export Compliance and Customs Regulations

As the exporter of record, the Gallery ensures all legal documentation required for the export of handwoven silk artworks from Iran is prepared. However, the Buyer is solely responsible for compliance with the import laws, regulations, and restrictions of the destination country. Any customs duties, import taxes, Value Added Tax (VAT), or clearance fees imposed by the destination country are the exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.

Global Shipping and Insurance

All shipments are processed via premium international logistics providers (e.g., DHL, FedEx, or specialized Art Logistics). Each shipment is fully insured against loss or damage in transit. Shipping costs, including insurance premiums, will be calculated based on the destination and item volume and presented for approval prior to order finalization.

Delivery and Transit Liability

Estimated delivery times are provided as a general guideline and may be affected by international customs processing. The Gallery shall not be held liable for delays caused by customs authorities or force majeure events. Once the package is delivered to the carrier and a tracking number is generated, the risk of loss passes to the Buyer, subject to the terms of the insurance policy.

Authenticity and Quality Assurance

Each silk masterpiece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) issued by Fidelis Carpet Gallery, verifying its origin, material quality, and craftsmanship. We guarantee that the physical integrity of the artwork matches the description provided on our digital catalog.

Returns, Refunds, and Dispute Resolution

Given the high-value, bespoke nature of these artworks, all sales are considered final unless the product arrives significantly damaged or fails to match the documented specifications. In such cases, the Buyer must notify the Gallery within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Any dispute arising from international transactions shall be addressed through professional mediation. Should litigation be necessary, it shall be governed by international commercial arbitration principles.

Data Privacy and Security

We adhere to strict global data protection standards (GDPR-compliant principles). We collect and process user data solely to fulfill international shipping requirements, ensure secure payment processing, and provide customer support. Your data will never be sold or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

Note to International Clients: By completing your purchase, you affirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this contract and have fulfilled all necessary financial and regulatory obligations required for the import of luxury artisanal goods into your jurisdiction.
